Sandy Langston

​DETRC Riding Instructor


Sandy is from Oklahoma, where she is a cattle, horse, dog, and cat rancher.  She loves  working with small and large animals as a Vet Tech in Oklahoma .  Sandy has loved working animals all her life and enjoys teaching riders all she knows about horses.  She grew up riding English and jumping, but since returning to her family land she converted to western. She is a PATH Intl Registered Instructor.

 I have learned first hand how horses can help heal wounds, build confidence, strengthen muscles and bring families together.

 I have been married 34 years to my husband, Bill Ward.  For 24 years of our marriage, my husband was a military soldier. I'm a mother of 2 adopted beautiful daughters and was a mother of two children that were diagnosed with SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
